Ali Mahlodji wants to save the world. He is a living proof that anything can be done if you are prepared to break the rules and break new ground.

He came to Europe as a refugee, began his career as a school dropout and had over 40 different jobs in his life, from construction worker to top manager.

Based on a childhood idea, he founded the internet career orientation platform WHATCHADO, the market leader for "video employer branding and storytelling" in German-speaking countries. WHATCHADO has received several international awards, including the "UN WORLD SUMMIT AWARD" and the "State Prize for Education and Knowledge". The platform reaches over one million people per month. As an expert in education and work, he travels around the world and advises companies, politicians and organisations on issues of change in the age of digitisation. Ali Mahlodji always focuses on the human factor and its potentials.

The European Union appointed him EU lifetime youth ambassador. Former Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern called him "creative, successful and humane".

He says of himself "Actually, I am a mistake in the system".

Ali Mahlodji will be on the IMS stage on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 together with the South Tyrolean star chef Norbert Niederkofler and will captivate the audience with his story.
